Ideas for Projects:

Monster Exchange between a partner class in another location:  Monster exchange in a math setting would be wonderful to introduce students to the different skills involved during the year.  For the monsters, they would use measuring skills, shapes, mathmatical terminology, colors, and descriptive writing.  Each class would create a monster and develop directions to send to the partner site. 

Collaborating Culture:  Partner with a class overseas.  Research about your own culture to present to the overseas class.  They would present about their culture in turn.  Students could present on Famous people in their country or historical figures.  Seasons and environment are always a popular topic also.  

Programs:

Cooperating School Districts:  Provides many opportunities for students and classes to collaborate or interact with a variety of programs!  We were very impressed with the interactive programs involving the autopsy and dissections.
