I thought it was neat that you took it in a local direction.

I love that you thought outside the assignment box and did your own thing! I think the idea of doing this as a web project is really great and I hope you all find a way to actually pursue this. Guest speakers could be on live via VC.

We wanted to try to do something that our students could relate directly to, which would be their local leaders, be it the mayor, the superintendant, or a student in their building.

How big of a community is Greensburg? It seems like a nice place.

I felt that this was a great idea to use people from a local community. Using local people makes it much more personable!

None of us are from Greensburg. We just chose that community because it was one we could all talk about.

We thought it would be more relevant if we used local community leaders if we did this exercise with students.

This would be a way to teach past/present. Include people from the past that have changed the way we think and people in our present community who are helping to cause change. You chose a local community.

We chose to do our local communities, but since we were all from different communities that made it more diffucult. So, we chose to use Greensburg.

It's great that you have chosen people who have directly influenced your community. Will you be sending them a link to your project?
